There is no substitute for experience. Justin first started offering Cosmetic Acupuncture in 2012 when he practiced in in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Not everyone is a good candidate for Cosmetic Acupuncture. Book in a free Zoom consultation with Justin - that's the first step. If it's a good match you'll be invited to schedule your in-home cosmetic acupuncture session with Justin Hays, LAc.
First Treatment
Your first visit Justin will bring everything needed for your cosmetic acupuncture session to your home, for your convenience. This may include any of the following: massage table, micro-needling kit, red light therapy, acupuncture supplies, facial masks, topical herbal products, sterile wipes, clean field, single use (disposable) acupuncture needles, sharps container, and more.
Second Treatment
After a minimum of 4 weeks have passed, you can schedule your second micro-needling cosmetic acupuncture session. For acne and hair loss, results should be visible within 10 days after your second treatment. For scar reduction and facial rejuvenation results may be visible before the second treatment!
Third Treatment
Now that you're seeing some results, you can schedule your third cosmetic acupuncture visit after another 4 weeks have passed.
After your first treatment, Justin may have given you some recommendations for topical herbs, nutritional advice, and/or Chinese herbal remedies that you can ingest. The effects of impletementing a wholistic approach should be quite evident at this stage.
Final Treatment
Cosmetic acupuncture with micro-needling is best done at most 4x per year. While you can continue to do nano-needling, acupuncure, and light therapy follow-ups there is usually no need to do more than 4 micro-needling sessions per year. After 1 year has passed you may do another 4 microneedling with cosmetic acupuncture sessions to maintain your results.

Lumos Brighten®
Active Ingredient: Zao Lei (Formulated algae from the coast of spain). In TCM terms it moves qi and blood to clear melanin pigmentation, eliminate age spots and improve melasma.
Collagen XG+
The active ingredient is Xiang Gu (Lentinus Edodes Extract or Shiitake Mushroom extract. Used to improve the organization, quality, and structure of collagen, which is linked to firmer and smoother skin.
APSTEM
Ping Guo (Swiss Apple Stem Cells) is the chief ingredient. Can be used or mixed with other serums and hyaluronic acid. From the famous Uttwiller Spatlauber trees of Switzerland and scientifically proven to activate the epidermal cells of the skin to start self-renewing at a rate similar to that of early youth.
Hyaluronic Acid
100% Pure Vegan Hyaluronic Acid (No thickeners). Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, which means it attracts and holds onto water. It can retain up to 1,000 times its weight in water, making it extremely effective at keeping the skin hydrated. Used in serum dilution.
Elastin FL+
Active Ingredient: Fu Ling (Poria Cocos). Best For Damp Acne Prone Greasy Skin and Older Thinning Skin (Spleen and Kidney Qi Deficiency). Used to improve skin thickness, microcirculation, and radiance. Also used to lessen the appearance of wrinkles characteristic of aging.
